So Long....

So long pesky cold - don't come back any time soon.

Being sick is for the birds, but waking up with a clear head and a burst of energy after three straight days of moving in a cold-induced haze is nothing short of glorious.  It was about time.  I don't think I could have taken another day on the couch, flipping mindlessly through magazines I've already read and watching poorly-recorded bootleg movies.

It was a strange weekend here, full of booming thunder and an occasional power outage.   This morning the sky is blue and clear, and I'm excited to be headed out to church and yoga, and making big plans to have something to eat other than....

oatmeal (with a side of Echinacea and Vitamin C)....

and tomato soup with grilled cheese.
