Pumpkin Pie Spice

Just five ground spices are all you need to make your own batch of Pumpkin Pie Spice. Made from scratch this easy spice blend has far more flavor than the pre-mixed variety you can buy from the store.
This recipe makes 3 Tbsp which is enough to bake 2 to 3 fall recipes in a season. (Use the slider next to “servings” below to customize.)

Equipment

  • 4 ounce Mason Jars

Ingredients

  • 2 Tablespoons Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Ginger
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground Allspice
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground Cloves

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in an airtight container. Spice blends will taste best if used within 6 months (but most can be safely stored in a cool, dry place for up to a year).

Notes

Storage: A glass or plastic container saved from store-bought spices works great for storing your own spice blends. I have been using 4-oz mason jars for all of my spices and seasoning blends for nearly a decade. It’s inexpensive and looks super organized.
